Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and shifts as required.
• Must have good safety, work, and attendance record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Must score at a sufficient level on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Assessment.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.

Job Tasks:

• Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure quality fabric is being produced at all times.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on assigned looms.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing Sulzer looms.
• Check for fabric defects and assist in repairs if needed.
• Make or adjust setting as needed.
• Assist in changing fabric styles and widths.
• Repair oil leaks or write up if necessary.
• Fill out required reports.
• Repair press rolls on off-loom take ups.
• Change napper brushes and perform style changes.
• Place loom parts in appropriate area.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.
