Mohawk is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Security Architect who can do more for all Mohawk Flooring North America brands across residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions. 

The Senior Infrastructure Security Architect has responsibility for developing and maintaining global infrastructure and information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for IS. The senior position provides technical guidance and training to the global security team and IS associates.  The senior position oversees architects and engineers who implement new technology and the upgrades, repairs, modifications, and replacements of security infrastructure.

 

What you’ll do:

•    Oversee, design, and implement security infrastructure globally
•    Directly assist and educate global Cyber Security teams on security infrastructure 
•    Create automation to streamline workloads
•    Provide DevOps security for applications
•    API security and design
•    Cloud Security
•    Participate in providing 24/7 support for security in production systems as necessary
•    Proactively protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information in the custody of or processed by the company
•    Provide technical expertise and guide engineers to ensure security tools are fully implemented and working as desired  
•    Oversee and assist in the development, maintenance, and publishing of all global-level information security standards, procedures, and guidelines, including compliance monitoring procedures; assist in resolving security policy issues and implementing security procedures
•    Research, evaluate, design, test, and plan implementation of new or improved information security software or devices, including analysis of new or enhanced software application or tool implementations for implications to existing security software and devices 
•    Maintain technical reference library; develop technical information materials and workshops on these new areas for IS as appropriate


What you have:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, with four to five years of work experience in IS (two years using PC tools) and another two to three years of relevant business unit experience
•    Working knowledge of Servers, Storage, Networking, Email, Cloud, Database, Active Directory, and Certificates
•    One or more of the following qualities or experience:
      demonstrated competency in strategic thinking with strong abilities in relationship management
      successfully developed and implemented new technology
     demonstrated competency in project management in a cross-functional environment as well as experience in managing or resources to meet goals on multiple projects
•    Experience with technology security vendors and professional organizations
•    Technical proficiency in security-related hardware and software; ability to consult to other IS business units on security matters as a recognized technical expert
•    Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the infrastructure development team’s concern for customers
•    Confidence and leadership qualities for infrastructure project teams in a cross-functional environment
•    Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people; effectiveness in all aspects of the core business skills: analysis, communication, writing, and negotiation
