What we're looking for:

Great manager who provides support for People Systems and applications by serving as technical advisor and systems consultant to Global and Business Unit HR management team for technology systems initiatives.  Responsible for providing technical strategic planning and leadership for all HR functions within the Division.

 

What you'll do:

  • Act as liaison to Business Unit HR management team regarding current and future information systems priorities and developments.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and representative for the Business Unit on People Systems projects.  
  • Continually monitors HR needs and provides technical advice related to the design of new and/or modification of existing systems to meet business objectives and system requirements.
  • Manage and implement testing of HRIS, conversion of data and implementation of new systems/processes and train HR management and functional users on system utilization.
  • Identify strategic needs with guidance from various internal and external sources and provide solution-oriented direction. Build awareness with HR leadership for validation, qualification and/or quantification.
  • Provide liaison support for tactical issues between Business Unit HR and/or Corporate Payroll.
  • Provide business case analysis with Return on Investment (ROI) and Business Value Index (BVI) for Corporate/Division HR.
  • Provide tactical assistance to HR units for implementation of initiatives and ensure that proper and approved processes are implemented.

 

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in Human Resources administration or experience equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of Human Resources.
  • Advanced proficiency using Workforce Management Software, Payroll Software (SuccessFactors, SAP, Workday, Kronos, ADP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of budgeting and expense control to plan, implement and maximize expenditure of funds while maintaining and improving quality standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team efforts, willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions; ability to persuade, market and sell new ideas and the ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.
  • Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.
  • Organizational ability to redirect skills to support new technologies while maintaining current commitments; ability to deal in a high-pressure environment, often in a crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems.
