International Sales Assistant

What we need:


Mohawk is looking for an International Sales Assistant to support their designated regions to process orders, working with sales, customers, credit, production and any other associated parties. This role will work closely with International Logistics to prepare, release and expedite all necessary paperwork and documents before and after the product has shipped to facilitate effective and efficient use of resources to support our customers.


What you’ll do:

  • Work with Sr. International Sales Coordinator to resolve service-related issues to ensure that customers have exceptional support
  • Review pricing, ensure pricing is entered correctly and calculate profit margins on all respective international orders
  • Review customer letters of credit to verify all necessary documentation and information to fulfill the customer orders and shipping requirements are met
  • Interface with domestic customer service as needed regarding strategic accounts requiring international assistance
  • Calculate split job commissions on orders for sales and calculate load rebates
  • Coordinate claims requests, credit memos and other reporting for international
  • Send specifications, testing and warranty information for projects


What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred); or 2-3 years of customer service experience and any combination of education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of applicable software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook and Lotus Notes

  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with sales, customers, internal and external contacts
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively prioritizing time and organizing work when handling several projects and responsibilities
