  • Assists the functional analysts in defining functional requirements and helps with the planning of these.
  • Implements designed functional solution and is responsible for integrated interface solution implementation.
  • Performs maintenance of integration points through an integration strategy for an SAP implementation and support program.
  • Assists with the planning of the delivery of the Technical Design Specifications.
  • Follows up the delivery and implementation of the Technical Design Specifications (in line with plan) in close collaboration with functional consultants.
  • Acts as liaison between Integration team and functional consultants.
  • Assists with Unit testing and provides support during integration testing.
  • Assists with urgent (blocking) corrections in the code (but following SAP transport rules)
  • Executes planned activities in the non-production environment as member of the SAP CoE Integration team.
  • Stays current in the new SAP versions and direction for SAP PO, EDI, and with new features and tools to identify opportunities in this area; helps contribute to the roadmap for future directions.
  • Performs code development with focus on the more complex programs where high level of interaction with functional consultants is required.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Must have 6 years of progressive experience in SAP positions in a globally organized SAP team performing the following:  
    • Utilizing SAP PI/PO tools (mapping tools/editors), different mapping styles (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping) and Interfaces using at least Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) in PI 7.1
    • Working on SAP PI Adapters (HTTP_AAE, IDoc, AAE, RFC, File, XI, SOAP, SFTP, and REST)
    • Working with technical integration on SAP and non-SAP systems.
    • Designing Interface solutions based on Functional Specifications, reviewing technical specifications, and performing hands-on development in the SAP PI/PO System
    • Integrations in ALE/IDOC interfaces
    • Assessments of the existing landscape to create technical designs.
    • Reporting status to functional consultants and technical lead with the ability to complete deliverables independently.
    • Configuration/implementation and support of IDOC, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, and SFTP
    • Utilizing SAP PI 7.3.1, SAP PO 7.4, or SAP PO 7.5
    • Utilizing single stack
    • Integrating SAP with external systems using a variety of methods.
