What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst who can do more for all Mohawk Flooring North America brands across residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions.

 

The Senior Compensation Analyst serves as a subject matter expert within the global Compensation function and a consultant to the business on compensation programs, policies, and practices.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Provides guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay, local bonus plans and Long term incentive program.
  • Consults with and advises stakeholders on compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analyses, job evaluations and other compensation projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and/or oversee the technical end of various compensation projects. May include studies, surveys, presentations, impact analysis, modeling, costing, ad hoc data reporting and training.
  • Conducts various annual reviews including, internal equity, merit movement, compa-ratio and other metrics for analysis, as needed
  • Prepares ad-hoc compensation analyses as requested by team and business partners.
  • Participate in and analyze data from relevant compensation surveys
  • Assists with reviewing and approving proposed salary and incentive compensation changes
  • Plays a key role in supporting annual compensation programs
  • Participates in cross-functional projects, representing the Compensation team and possibly performing in project leadership role
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Compensation experience 

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of compensation practices (job analysis, documentation, evaluation, equity review, market pricing, merit, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential people data
  • Ability to influence, solve problems and successfully collaborate and communicate with clients.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookups, and creating dashboards.  Proficient using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively with management and employees at all levels
  • Ability to analyze and organize information and to create effective and accurate documentation and reports
