What we need:


Responsible for the direction and oversight of Mohawk Group’s Showroom location in Toronto.  At a high level, this position will develop and maintain favorable relationships with client, in an effort to meet sales objectives for all commercial brand categories. This position will also be responsible for all customer events in Toronto.  Operate as Brand Ambassador in the Toronto market in order to increase Mohawk’s competitive position and maintain brand integrity.   


What you’ll do:


  • Manages operations for Toronto Mohawk Group Showroom.
  • Works closely with clients and customers to ensure a complete understanding of our products.
  • Manage Mohawk Group samples operations for Toronto showroom.
  • Manage showroom floors and product displays so that they align with Mohawk Group strategy and company standards including collateral to support current collections and new launches.
  • Plan and execute all Toronto customer events, including showroom activations, lunch and learns, local industry events, trainings, etc.
  • Build client engagement through social media, especially regarding Toronto events.
  • Coordinate meetings and special events in Toronto showroom as needed including catering, entertainment, ordering lunch, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge on all current commercial products.
  • Present all commercial brand products and services to clients visiting showroom and provide technical assistance/information regarding product quality and attributes. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients along with sales staff.
  • Act as liaison for client with the commercial sales representatives. 
  • Maintain tracking of all customers that visit the showroom. 
  • Support sales staff with product layouts, palettes and customer presentations.
  • Keep showroom calendar up to date for showroom events.


What you have:


  • Four-year college degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Experience and working knowledge of commercial products and showroom management in the flooring industry.
  • Advanced level proficiency in the following areas:  Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong acumen for technology
  • 3 years + of experience in management and/or interior design

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret/adapt system procedures or operating concepts to fit new situations.

  • Strong organizational skills – attention to detain and Self-Motivator-willing to take the initiative
  • Leadership – ability and willingness to train and coach others; exhibits servant leadership


What else?


  • Expect to travel approximately 25-50% for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
