Primary Objective:

Inspect manufactured product from the line to ensure end consumer satisfaction. Work with machine operator to correct defects.

Major Functions:

Assembles and thoroughly inspects product quality throughout the production shift.
Reports defects or other quality issues to the machine operator immediately.
Signs off on product quality.
Follows up to ensure defects are corrected.
Documents and records inspection results in a spreadsheet format.
Performs basic Shop Floor tasks related to creating and releasing containers.
Sorts rejected product based on variety of characteristics. Documents and records the results of sorting.
During change-over and PM, assists machine operator with assigned of tasks.
Attends any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
Follows all established standard operating procedures.
Performs general housekeeping duties as necessary.
Performs other tasks assigned by management.

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

1 year of training in product quality preferred.

Ability to meet production goals.

Computer literacy required.

Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information:

This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be regular exposure to noise from machinery, dust, fumes and variable temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.

Other working conditions may include working 12 hours shift and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; bending, squatting, and climbing stairs are required.
