What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Line Haul Operations Specialist to join our Transportation team. In this role, you’ll drive our line haul customer experience by communicating accurately and timely to

drivers, customers and brokers.

What you’ll do:

• Dispatch and track and trace all domiciled assets for our Thomasville facility
• Update and complete load information to ensure payroll and accounting data is accurate
• Manage fleet performance and revenue through well-constructed schedules, and address and manage delays, breakdowns, reschedules, etc.
• Maintain optimal performance using Mohawk metrics and standards
• Be the point of contact and liaison for drivers at the Thomasville facility, including ensuring appropriate home time, helping resolve any issues, coaching, etc.

What you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to quickly learn and use complex software tools
• 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher (preferred)
• Knowledge of FMCSR and DOT regulations (preferred)
• Experience using McLeod and/ or Samsara (preferred)

• Staying organized and paying attention to details in a fast-paced environment 
• Responding quickly to employee issues with a positive and empathetic attitude 
• Comfortably and confidently working with minimal supervision when necessary
• Remaining flexible and problem solving to deal with last minute and unexpected changes, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals
