Primary Objective:

Operate forklift and reach truck to ensure timely movement of return products into warehouse locations.  Duties are performed under general supervision following standard work procedures and guidelines.

Major Function and Scope:

• Must be able to perform the following duties:
  • Operates sit down forklift and reach truck to transport materials between trucks and storage areas.
  • Assists in the unloading, processing and inspecting of returns trucks.
  • Works with quality assurance at designated times to inspect pallets
  • Consolidating product into locations as needed
  • Removing damaged product as needed
  • Maintain all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate records.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 6+ months forklift experience preferred
• Inventory experience a plus
• Experience working with a hand held barcode scanner and computer is preferred
• Oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate work unit and in related support areas.
• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit, and stoop.
• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.
• Requires regular lifting up to 40 pounds.
