What we need:

Mohawk ships products in various manners to meet our customers needs.  The role of customer pick-up clerk is to ensure correct product is loaded on the correct mode and carrier with the correct documentation.  This role interacts with all shipping functions while also interacting with customers and carriers.  Professional and respectful communication is required.

What you’ll do:

• Ship product on assigned carrier by expected ship date
• Communicate with customers and drivers in professional manner
• Willingness to work overtime and cross train when requested
• Utilize necessary tools such as web portals, email, etc. to ship
• Ensure correct documentation is included in all CPU shipments
• Coordinate the order preparation with the picking team
• Coordinate the actual shipping of the order with the shipping team
• Assist with shipping operation as needed
• Help maintain housekeeping in office and shipping docks
• Coordinate pre and post shift communications and reports with management teams

What you have:

• Knowledge of AS400, MS Office
• Familiarity with overall shipping operations- including LTO functions, RF priority, truck schedules etc.
• High School diploma or intention to obtain GED within 1 year
• Ability to read and write English
• No more than 1 corrective action for attendance or safety

• Interact and communicate among multi-functional departments
