Primary Objective:

Responsible for maintaining supplies.

Major Function and Scope:  

• Ensure supplies/parts are in stock and available for department needs including ordering supplies/stock utilizing re-order report
• Place supplies/stock in designated areas and service supplies/parts for several departments
• Unload truck deliveries and sign for supplies/parts brought by various vendors
• Enter data in computer system of supplies/stock issued and coordinate routine audits to ensure stock count is always correct
• Set up new items for stock codes through Mo Share/Material Master
• Work through issues with Purchasing/Vendors when problems arise
• Enter requisitions when necessary and maintain Purchase Orders until received
• Maintain spare motors to ensure no lost production due to motor failure
• Maintain plant radio inventory and send out repairs as needed
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Types of Experience & Knowledge:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Lift Truck Certification preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
• May be required to use department specific database systems such as: Microsoft Suite, JD Edwards, SAP
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction
• Three to six months receiving/supply room experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
