Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to distinguish between colors on sight

· Must be able to understand and follow safety rules

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

· Must have high school diploma or GED

· Basic math skills/ability to read and write English

· Experience spin operating

Job Tasks:

· Work Safely, Obeying all Plant Rules & Procedures.

· Maintain a clean and orderly workplace for your assigned areas.

· Wear appropriate PPE as is required for the particular task being performed at that time.

· Answer calls via radio and respond accordingly. Follow Mohawk standards in regard to radio etiquette. Maintain professional communications at all times.

· Perform appropriate task as needed after radio communication confirmation. Perform visual inspections on pack conditions to determine necessary response. This includes but it not limited to, "clean and drops", verification of quench air settings to ensure that machine conditions are maintained and are within process specifications, notification to proper personnel if any suspect conditions should arise for appropriate actions to be taken.

· Follow all guidelines and SOP's for pack removals, installations, pre- torques, break downs and cleaning, cleanings.

· Collect resin samples as necessary for the lab.

· Visual inspections of pack ovens. Ensure that all ovens are heating properly- (LED display readings).

· Verify that the correct type of packs are in appropriate locations. Use the STD pack card for reference.

· Assist with color changes.

· Monitor and record hourly boiler reading as required.

· Perform assigned daily spin beam cleanings.

· Follow break schedules accordingly.

· Performs other duties as required.
