What we need:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that provides administrative support to the department and ensures that the end-user/client is properly serviced according to job site delivery agreements and/or requirements. Working closely with Global Sourcing Manager, Product Manager, Product Designers, Customer Services Representative & Sales Representative on product developments, sample request following up, packaging approval and product setups.
What you’ll do:
- Review, approve, and process sample requests entered by sales team. Coordinate samples with overseas vendors. Follow up the sample status.
- Work with Global Sourcing Manager, Product Manager and Product Designer to review development samples. Communicate approval, improvement & revision details to overseas team.
- Work with overseas team on sampling instructions, guidance, color standards, approved sample sealing and signing off, documentation etc.
- Monitor sample progresses. Communicate with overseas team and sales team on the sample status. Work with the sample department to ensure proper delivery of samples and resolve issues with package transit.
- Create, organize, and maintain standard samples in the sample department.
- Daily support to Global Sourcing Manager and Product Development Department.
- Handle daily inquiries on import products from Sales team and CSR team.
- Provide packaging instructions to the overseas team.
- Inquiry/ provide label approval for overseas team as well as maintaining a record of approvals.
- Maintain HTSU Matrix report on the duty, tariff, and product classification.
- Report global sourcing updates weekly to Global Sourcing Manager and Director.
What you have:
High School Diploma
A minimum of four years job specific experience in sales support, customer service or related field required. Knowledge of flooring products. High level of proficiency in a variety of PC application: AS400, Lotus Notes, Excel, Word

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers / vendors.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines – work beyond established work schedule when necessary to meet timelines.
- Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the organization, as well as those with whom the company does business.
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects effectively.
- Good analytical and organizational skills, able to multitask.
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers and team members.
