What we need:

The Sr Manager Product Management is a senior-level manager that will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight to the product management team. This role is instrumental in driving the overall product strategy, development, and successful market launch of our products. 

What you’ll do:

  • Set clear expectations for team members; solicit and deliver feedback. 

  • Managing every aspect of a product’s development from conception to completion. 

  • Continue to contribute to ongoing function work while overseeing the delivery of multiple projects. 

  • Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. 

  • Frequently interact with functional peer groups, other company divisions, or customers of the company. 

  • Sales Collaboration – help identify white space needs; understanding via sales items underperforming or high volume skus to maximize offerings provide detailed specs and cost. 

  • Global Sourcing in Georgia and overseas – MOQ requirements, machine efficiencies, packaging details; costs 

  • Maintain PID Development System – customer specific development request for sales; direct design team on priorities and construction that fir within requested development needs; collaborate with design team to choose and approve samples for development cycles.   

  • System setups 

  • Oversee new development sales sheets with photography for all new collections 

  • Inventory and SKU Management 

  • Develop both short and long-term strategic plans and implement actions to achieve results. 

  • Develop and implement initiatives to achieve annual financial objectives. 

  • Ensure effective control of marketing activities and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets. 

  • Facilitate problem resolution related to product quality and supply chain issues. 

  • Obtain in-depth understanding of all product platforms and the rules associated with each. 

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline activity.  

  • Responsible for making sure that all departments come together in a timely manner to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope. 

  • Lead tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results.  

  • Frequently communicate internal processes and terminology to various teams to ensure proper understanding of internal processing. 

  • Work with manufacturing to achieve specified designs in production. 

  • Organize hang lists and pricing for markets. 

  • Review and approve packaging for all new skus with recommendations on care cleaning to ensure passing for testing 

  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships internally and externally to promote business goals. 

  • Grow the knowledge and skillset of your direct reports. 

  • Performs other duties as needed.  

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.    

  • 8-10 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.    

  • 3-5 years of management experience.

What you’re good at:

  • Develops intermediate understanding of people management practices and managing small teams of direct reports. 

  • Ability to understand AutoCAD / Read Plans / Recognize pattern repeat issues. 

  • Knowledge of Company brands and products information required to perform the essential functions of the job. 

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures related to department activities. 

  • Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals. 

  • Able to delegate work effectively to team members; ensures tasks are completed without micromanaging. 

  • Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact. 

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively. 

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. 

  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. 

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures. 

  • Perform other duties as needed.  

  • This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
