The eCommerce Content Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of improving the customer/consumer and prospective customers experience through online product content as well as the strategy and execution of improving our overall online product offering. Responsibilities will include product launches, growing and managing product question and answer strategy, and building our brand and connected content presence.  The content should position the organization as thought leaders/trend setters and drive optimal conversion rates.   The eCommerce Content Manager will develop a deep understanding of our products, company culture and customer needs.  Although this is a heavy content & writing position, there are other responsibilities that will require a considerable amount of time and effort including graphic design (creation or outsourcing) and leading to executing the organization’s eCommerce strategy.

 

  • Assist in creation of eCommerce Content Strategy for Mohawk Home by providing recommendations based on analytics of the market and customer and evaluation of shopper behavior.
  • Solely execute a customer-centric, content strategy that focuses on enhancing the sales journey through all stages of the funnel including post-purchase. 
  • Create engaging top-of-funnel content that successfully converts traffic to leads when used in gated or ungated lead generation efforts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our markets to speak to our target audiences with an authentic voice.
  • Develop strong knowledge base of our vertical market needs, target audience personas, industry vocabulary and how our products can be a game changer for these markets.
  • Assist true eCommerce customers with consumer Q & A, maintaining user friendly capabilities and processes. 
  • Audit top digital assets and make the appropriate corrections solely and in a team environment
  • Using past and current sales performance to determine how to create a great online customer experience and maximize revenue potential
  • Ensure that all merchandising, marketing and promotional deadlines are met
  • Manages, develops and grows overall online product content strategy including product Q & A
  • Manages major on-line product launches
  • Works well in a team environment with many cross functional team members to achieve common goals. Troubleshoots and resolves any online issues or bottlenecks. 

 

  • Experience in writing SEM enriched content a plusBachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Communications and/or related field
  • 6+ years of content creation experience with a heavy focus on creative writing
  • Experience in hands-on creative writing and content creation. Position requires a writer who is comfortable with varying writing styles.
  • Experience in leading a team, remote leadership preferred
  • Proven problem-solving, project management and team building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing cross-functional processes
  • Excellent customer service skills and works well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

 

  • Proficiency with AS/400 and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to effectively direct, supervise, and manage a team of people.
  • Ability to strategically guide a team of people through empowering initiatives and goals.
  • Ability to efficiently produce quality outcomes independently, as well as with a team.
  • Strong ability to make decisions and solve problems as a leader.

Regular travel to Mohawk Home HQ .  Additional travel as needed for Markets
