Primary Objective:

 

This position will be responsible for spearheading multiple cross-functional activities regarding customer portals and operations activities to drive sales for designated accounts in e-commerce. The responsibilities include being the initial point of contact, assisting in important tactical activities that are required to drive sales and work closely with the e-commerce team to assist in team projects.

The position will establish relationships within the assigned accounts, work closely with the lead salesperson, the business intelligence team, and operations to maximize account potential.  

 

Major Function and Scope:

  • Mastering assigned customer portals to lead new product upload processes, content updating initiatives, and fill out the appropriate internal pricing requirements
  • First line of defense for EDI pricing issues with a focus on identifying and fixing the problem
  • Provide exception customer support for all activities with assigned accounts
  • Confirming EDI inventory feeds are accurate and spearheading appropriate adjustments, as needed.
  • Help monitor inventory levels for key products
  • Responsible for keeping the product portfolio updated and actively engaged in making improvements
  • Addressing all consumer questions/comments
  • Monitoring daily open orders to ensure we reach our best-in-class service goals
  • Part of the process that addressing any shipping issues
  • Establish a relationship with key customer personnel and communicate with that group in a professional and timely manner to drive all customers initiatives
  • Establish strong rapport with all critical account stakeholders internally and at the customer level.
  • Coordinate with lead salesperson to maintain accurate forecast and opportunity status by account.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of AS400 systems, Microsoft Access, and Excel are required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, Customer Support, Sales or Product Management
  • Experience resolving customer issues and escalating, when necessary.
  •  Strong organizational planning and time management skills.
  • Works well cross-functionally with a large team.
  • Respond quickly to customer/consumer issues.
  • Demonstrates a level of professionalism.
  • Coordinate with internal Order Fulfillment and Customer Service teams.
  • Maintain accurate forecast and opportunity status.
