What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for a Strategic Account Manager who can do more with Mohawk across business development and account acquisition.  

 

This position will be responsible for implementing both short and long-term sales objectives that will meet the needs of customers and increase market share, as well as maximize sales potential. This position will also help determine which accounts are deemed strategic based on the goals and efforts that are implemented. We are looking for driven individuals that are customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients by leveraging real data to capitalize on business trends and opportunities.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Pursue major account prospects by working with all SAMs to determine opportunities regionally, nationally, and globally.
  • Convert prospects into active accounts and own the conversion process throughout lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Directors, RVPs and AEs to develop strategic account plans and audit current accounts that may be at risk
  • Provide quarterly business reviews with activated accounts to address company performance relative to KPIs
  • Facilitate AE support through presentations, sales strategies, client identification, and additional learning materials
  • Enact company’s sustainability initiatives and clearly deliver this message to the market

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred
  • Three to five years previous experience in sales, key account management in related field
  • IT literacy in CRM, LinkedIn, and web-based research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

 

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism
  • Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral, presentational, and interpersonal form
  • Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics
  • Staying organized and prioritizing multiple projects at once

  • Expect to travel approximately 60%
