What we need:

The Sr SAP Source-to-Pay Analyst is a high-performing contributor who works to facilitate and support SAP functions and projects by influencing others on SAP policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of IT issues. This role will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP modules, and ensuring the effective utilization of SAP technology.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration, enhancement, and custom development work.
  • Partner with the user community to ensure successful and timely User Acceptance Testing.
  • Provide SAP (FI/CO) knowledge and advice to the Master Data Consultants and Change Management Experts when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze SAP requirements.
  • Configure and customize SAP modules to meet business process requirements.
  • Implement and optimize SAP solutions to enhance efficiency and functionality.
  • Performs high quality analysis reliably and consistently.
  • Ensure quality and best practices in each SAP functional domain by driving and adhering to the Mohawk SAP global solution template, SAP standards, knowledge base, and best practices.
  • Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
  • Proactively work with Project Managers and Vendor Project Teams to resolve technical issues and to champion closure on business and technical issues related to process, business rules, and configuration.
  • Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical SAP knowledge of: ABAP programming language, bapi, idoc, ALV, SAPscript, batch input, smart forms, LSMW, job scheduling, implementation of OSS notes, etc. Technical knowledge of SAP authorizations, Java, SAP Netweaver, etc. is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Ariba, ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, and IT practices and methods. Knowledge of EAI / integration principles is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP business processes & SAP modules with emphasis on Source-to-Pay
  • Proficient using PC.

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and analyze business processes for conversion to SAP and to optimize existing SAP processes.
  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks and impacts, and define alternatives and prioritizations to remove technical roadblocks.
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
