Position: SAP Manager - FICO
Location: Calhoun, GA
Description
- Acts as a leading performer that manages end-to-end SAP projects, ensuring successful implementations and optimizations.
- Responsible for planning, executing, and closing SAP projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develops detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timeline, and resource requirements for SAP projects.
- Leads the execution of SAP projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand SAP project requirements and expectations.
- Provides regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Manages the allocation of resources for SAP projects, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Collaborates with resource managers to address any resource constraints.
- Identifies and assesses project risks, develops mitigation strategies, and implements contingency plans.
- Proactively manages risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensures the quality of SAP project deliverables, conducting reviews and validations.
- Implements quality assurance processes to meet project objectives.
- Works with the application architects, functional leads, and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work.
- Participates in design and configuring of the SAP modules to support the organization’s TO-BE process vision, together with the technical team and Business Process Owners.
- Develops training material solutions end-to-end; prototyping, blueprinting, designing, building, testing, documentation, and post go-live support including interface and cross module integration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Must have 9 years of progressive experience in positions performing IT Finance or Accounting responsibilities, utilizing the following:
- Utilizing functional hands-on experience in Finance modules in SAP ECC or S/4: SAP-FI General ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), SAP-CO-Product Costing (CO-PC), and CO-Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Creating specifications for custom development programs using SAP ECC or S/4 environment.
- Providing production support of SAP applications in SAP ECC or S/4 version.
- Utilizing experience and knowledge of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, and IT practices and methods.
- Must have performed at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP Implementations using SAP ECC of S/4 Version.
