Position Title: SAP Lead Functional Analyst - Vistex

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

  1. Architect, design, implement, and document Vistex V4 application solutions in an SAP/S4 HANA environment.
  2. Design and provide ongoing recommendations and best practices from technical and operational aspects.
  3. Provide SAP Vistex support to internal customers and projects.
  4. Take ownership of small projects as assigned.
  5. Communicate with management and escalate issues as needed.
  6. Monitor day-to-day project execution to ensure that the plan is being followed.
  7. Ensure system support documentation is kept up to date and contains any changes as a result of any upgrades or redesigns.
  8. Manage and approve insurance requirements for all contractors.
  9. Manage certificate of insurance software.

 

 

      MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a directly related field of study with a focus in IT, plus the following experience:
    1. 6 yrs of progressively responsible & related hands-on exp w/ SAP Vistex technologies.
    2. 6 yrs of combined exp leading teams through implementation, upgrade & maintenance projects.
    3. 5 yrs of exp w/ current technologies that support SAP S4 HANA.
    4. 5 yrs of combined hands-on exp w/ Vistex configurations, debugging & implementations for the Vistex V4 S4/HANA version.
    5. 6 yrs of combined exp to include EACH of the following: ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects & IT practices & methods.
    6. 6 yrs of combined exp to include utilizing EACH of the following: principles, techniques & methodology of project management, quality management, & change management.
    7. 6 yrs of combined exp utilizing Charm change control & transport management application.
    8. 5 yrs of combined exp to include EACH of the following: Vistex V4 for S4/HANA version, integration to SAP/S4 HANA 2020, & associated processes.
    9. 5 yrs of combined exp with Business Partners/Customer & Vendor Master Data.
    10. 6 yrs of combined exp to include EACH of the following Master Data & Transactional Objects: Customer, Materials, Pricing, Rebates, Sales Orders, & UOM Cross reference files.
    11. 6 yrs of combined exp with Sales Orders to include EACH of the following: processing, pricing, billing, Customer Master, Returns, & Rebate processing.
    12. 6 yrs of exp translating basic compensation plans into Vistex agreements.
    13. 3 yrs of combined exp with basic SOX & audit requirements to include EACH of the following: Vistex system, month-end close & reporting aspects & security implications.
    14. 3 yrs of exp partnering with the business to identify business processes that require change & support for continuous operational improvements.
    15. 6 yrs of combined exp in troubleshooting & debugging SAP Vistex configuration & underlying code to determine root cause & proposing resolutions within the Vistex commissions & rebates applications.
    16. 6 yrs of combined exp performing & supporting System Design & Customization in IP modules & Buckets for various business processes.
    17. 3 yrs of combined exp with the configuration & custom application design during UAT, & Go-live, & Post Go-Live.
    18. 6 yrs of combined exp overseeing, administering, & coordinating system upgrades & patches for ERP business Sales, Distribution, & Vistex process.
    19. 5 yrs of combined exp configuring EACH of the following: Calculation Buckets & Number ranges, Condition type groups & different condition types, & accrual & settlement profiles.
    20. 5 yrs of combined exp supporting Vistex module Proof of Concept for commissions & rebates applications using SAP S4/HANA, Vistex Incentives & Payback modules.
    21. 6 yrs of exp providing technical assistance in the preparation of new system development proposals.
    22. 6 yrs of exp developing a SAP/Vistex user procedure & training curriculum.
    23. 6 yrs of exp keeping up with current ERP management trends, literature, & technologies to identify opportunities for improving business processes & assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems.
    24. 6 yrs of exp translating business requirements into System Requirements Specification.
    25. 6 yrs of exp executing &/or coordinating system integration testing.
    26. 6 yrs of exp performing tests & modifying application configurations to resolve errors while ensuring business acceptance.
    27. 6 yrs of exp assisting the business users as needed in UAT activities required to move changes & enhancements to production system.
    28. 6 yrs of exp managing projects/work tasks in a timely manner.
    29. 6 yrs of exp clearly anticipating & communicating project issues.
  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
  • Requires less than 25% domestic travel to other company locations.
