Primary Objective: In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

Service and maintain production machines in twisting and/ or heatset and spacedye

Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

Be able to operate all equipment and machinery.
Provides own tools
Work holidays as required
Work extended hours and overtime when needed
Clean buggies
Perform electrical maintenance
Welding
Filling propane tanks
Operate lift trucks and lift devices
Checking mechanics of lift truck
Implement Lock Out/ Tag Out procedures
Will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance on equipment
Will be responsible for meeting deadlines when repairing equipment
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
Follow all established standard operating procedures
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 1-year maintenance experience with twisters and or heatset/superba preferred

Competencies: Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Good attendance record
Ability to meet deadlines on a regular basis
Must have a good work ethic to do it right the first time

Must be able to work around moving machine parts.
Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
