Primary Objective:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant equipment: including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting and replacing defective parts

Experience Requirements:

Must be experienced in the hand tools, power tools, metal working tools, ladders, buffers, gauges and precision measuring instruments

Must be able to work with machine parts, manuals, lubricants, and chemicals

Must be able to read and write standard English

Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Competencies:

Follow all safety procedures in the safe servicing of plant equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant equipment: including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting and replacing defective parts

Perform cutting and welding as needed during shift for all departments, following proper hot work procedures

Perform weekly PM’s

Perform any miscellaneous duties as required by supervision

Must be able to work on a team with limited supervision

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.

Must work in 90°F plus temperatures and with equipment that may exceeded 500°F

Must be able to do heavy lifting on a regular basis (up to 75 pounds)

Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, water, humidity and temperature variations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and in precarious places.
