Job Tasks:

• Completion of routine upkeep and inspections (daily, weekly, monthly as assigned)
• Responds to calls on shift to troubleshoot / repair machines, equipment, facility utilities and infrastructure.
• Provides diagnosis and repair minimizing downtime, increasing utilization and efficiency.
• Diagnose, repair or replace: damaged or broken wires/cables, printed circuit boards, modules, or sensors associated with malfunctioning electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors and motor controllers, lighting circuits and fixtures, temperature controllers, AC and DC drive motor controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, etc…
• Diagnose repair or replace damaged pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components associated with malfunctioning processes such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, bearings, chains, and sprockets.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and routine maintenance duties as required.
• Records data and ensure that mechanical / electrical failures are properly documented.
• Troubleshooting process control equipment and board level instrumentation.
• Install and calibrate field instrumentation including RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company polices.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

Qualifications:    

• Must currently be working within the Plant Maintenance group.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mechanical/electrical background required.
• Certification/diploma in electrical technology from accredited school with technical certification preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential function of the job.
• Successful completion of Mechatronics Technician Training – preferred 
• Associate Degree in Applied Science – Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent – preferred 

• Technical certification required in a related discipline.
  • Siemens PCS 7 certification - preferred
