What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Business Development Manager who can do more with Mohawk Flooring North America brands across Commercial.


The role of the Business Development Manager is to develop and implement growth opportunities with new clients and customers that have not previously done business with Mohawk. We are looking for driven individuals that are customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients by leveraging real data to capitalize on business trends and opportunities.


What you’ll do:


  • Engage and convert opportunities into active accounts, developing the conversion process and transition plan. The transition plan defines the process in which managing the account will be turned over to a Senior Account Executive or Key Account Manager
  • The candidate will have all responsibility for the strategic accounts managed in all regions. This includes pricing, product, logistics and execution on all projects with close coordination of an AE/RVP
  • Drive communication with RVPs and AEs to elevate account transparency.
  • Thorough understanding of product offering and installation services both domestic and global, including how we go to market globally.
  • Active member in trade organizations and networking within your market and segment.
  • Compliance to expense policy.


What you have:


  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient in CRM, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Zoom Info and other web based research
  • Skilled Negotiation Training completed (GAP Partnership, The Maker)

  • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.


What else?


  • Expect to travel occasionally each month.
