What we need:

 

The Data Architect is a leading performer who designs, implements, and maintains scalable and secure financial data architecture solutions to meet business needs. This role will focus on OneStream Software, a unified Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform for finance that blends financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting into a single system. The Data Architect collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of OneStream environments.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Designs OneStream architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Develops and implements best practices for OneStream deployments, integrations, and operations.
  • Collaborates with finance and IT stakeholders to align OneStream strategies with organizational goals.
  • Oversees the migration of financial applications, data, and reporting processes into OneStream.
  • Evaluates and recommends OneStream features, tools, and extensions to maximize business value.
  • Ensures compliance with financial data governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors OneStream systems, identifying and resolving performance or reliability issues.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation for OneStream architectures and solutions.
  • Researches emerging EPM technologies and advises on their potential application within OneStream.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members working with OneStream.
  • Leverages creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Contributes to departmental strategy and goal development through OneStream-enabled insights.
  • Creatively and strategically supports key business objectives with unified EPM solutions.
  • Participates in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.
  • Performs high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.
  • Generates fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in financial reporting and analytics.
  • Proactively investigates and/or leads investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in data architecture or financial systems.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with OneStream Software (design, configuration, and integration).
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and financial reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • OneStream certification or equivalent experience is a plus.

What else:

 

  • Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
