What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Director who can do more for all Mohawk North America brands across residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions.

 

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the IAM Director will lead Mohawk’s Identity Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Privileged Access management teams. Plan at a tactical level and manages the effective use of resources to transform business specifications into cost-effective Information Security solutions. Leads assigned staff to implement and/or maintain a large, complex system or multiple smaller systems and/or assigned project(s). Manages the tactical plan for assigned Global Security projects of business significance.

 

Mohawk is seeking a hands-on IAM professional that will lead Identity Management within and will play an integral role as part of our transition to more forward thinking and exciting Identity Management models that support on-premises and cloud solutions.  This person should have a vision for how to best leverage the technologies/processes to protect our data and systems, while allowing our business partners to move quickly by automating identity life cycle, access provisioning/deprovisioning and access certification. This candidate will also help plan and execute at a strategic level, lead, and influence resources and outcomes, develop IGA strategy, and lead the implementation of strategy including partnership and collaboration with other teams and organizations.

 

 

 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

·         Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing IAM team, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaborative and innovative work environment.

·         Strategic Planning: Design, develop and execute a comprehensive user access management (Identity Governance & Administration) strategy, focusing on access provisioning/deprovisioning, certifications etc.

·         Technology Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for SailPoint and other IAM technologies leveraging them effectively to enhance security and user experience.

·         Technology Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of identity governance & administration (IGA) solutions across various technologies and platforms ensuring seamless functionality and security.

·         Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal security policies related to identity governance & administration (IGA). Respond to audit and regulatory requests as needed.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with Cybersecurity, audit, legal, and stakeholders to define access policies, user roles, and access control procedures for a diverse technology and lines of business (LOB) landscape. Partner with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure proper resourcing and on-time project deliveries.

·         Legacy Application Integration: Drive strategies for secure access to legacy applications, balancing modern security requirements with the unique challenges of older systems.

·         Cloud Identity Governance & Administration: Develop and implement strategies for cloud access governance, ensuring a robust and scalable approach to cloud-based and SaaS solutions.

·         Perform additional responsibilities as requested to meet overall business objectives.

Management / Supervision:

·         Manages Global IAM staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

·         In conjunction with the CISO, recommend purchases/upgrades of security systems and vendor solutions.

·         Works with stakeholders to define security requirements for new technology implementations while keeping current with the latest security threats.

 

 

What you have:

 

·         Ten years of relevant hands-on experience with Identity and Access management practices, processes required.

·         Five years of experience as a technical lead/SME required.

·         Five years of experience in developing and implementing solutions in Identity Governance tools such as SailPoint or similar technologies required.

·         Prior experience of automating Identity Life Cycle (joiner, mover, leaver), SOD (Segregation of Duties) and access certifications required.

·         Experience in software development lifecycle, change management, and release management practices required.

·         Prior experience managing others preferred.

·         Experience in RBAC, PBAC, SOD implementation preferred.

§  Results are reviewed with next-level manager for clarification according to predefined objectives.

§  Planning and Project Management:

§  Develops operational plans and provides resource estimation for task planning.

§  Proposes plans of action that are timely, realistic, and positive.

§  Sets appropriate goals for projects and monitors progress against the plan.

§  Delegates to maximize organizational effectiveness.
