Position: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Software Engineer
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Description
- Responsible for maintaining, validating code and deployment packages, and promoting finalized code into the production environment for the ongoing maintenance and configuration of the Sail point IIQ Software in Mohawk’s global application server environment.
- Responsible for guiding design, code review, and release management as part of the oversight of internal software development lifecycle.
- Utilizes experience with the following programming languages: Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, and SQL.
- Utilizes experience with the following web technologies: XML, Web and Application Servers, HTML, and RestAPI.
- Utilizes experience setting up and installing software on both Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms.
- Utilizes experience with Databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, and MySQL).
- Utilizes experience with Directories (LDAP and AD).
- Utilizes strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality and resolve production issues.
- Plans, conducts, schedules, and provides technical direction to systems engineers.
- Provides documentation for repeatable process.
- Analyzes highly complex business requirements. Generates technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts of the Mohawk IAM solution.
- Leverages industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support the Mohawk IAM solution.
- Assures the quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the Mohawk IAM solution.
- Leads software development to automate access certifications, policy management, and audit reporting to streamline compliance processes and improve the effectiveness of identify governance – all while lowering costs.
- Streamlines certification activities by proactively focusing on high-risk users and connected and non-connection systems.
- Leverages the Sailpoint IdentifyIQ policy and risk features to validate users’ roles and entitlements against a broad range of policy and risk types.
- Leverages the Sailpoint IdentityIQ capabilities to seek integration opportunities with current IT security tools to enhance automation (e.g. Security Training, Security Threat Detection).
- Empowers advanced compliance analytics that allow for direct integration to SAP GRC.
- Presents recommendations to management that could improve or resolve Mohawks IAM security access issues.
- Participates in or leads special projects and performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field with an Information Technology focus plus 4 years of progressive experience in positions performing identity and access management performing the below skills:
- Automating manual and semi-automatic processes via scripting language including PowerShell and BeanShell.
- Utilizing working knowledge of identity management platform provisioning (groups/roles/accounts/permissions).
- Utilizing C/C++, .NET, C#, and PL/SQL.
- Utilizing JAVA and Apache Tomcat.
- Developing IT security policy and procedure.
- SailPoint development experience.
- In the alternative, must have Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field with an Information Technology focus plus 2 years of progressive experience in positions performing identity and access management performing the aforementioned skills.
- Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Mohawk offices in Kennesaw, GA. Must be available to travel to Kennesaw, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
