Primary Objective: In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

Under direct supervision cleans and maintains facilities/building, to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

Performs any combination or all the following duties: o Sweeps, dusts, mops, dumps trash and cleans assigned work areas o Maintains coffee and restroom supplies in break areas and restrooms o Maintains inventory of supplies, ordering supplies as needed o Cleans outside of the facility and may occasionally perform basic landscaping duties o Setup of meeting rooms and facilities according to plans specified by the user o Responsible for the immediate break down and cleanup of facilities after each event o Operates and performs basic preventative maintenance on and equipment o Assists in securing buildings
- Performs the most basic building and grounds repairs, this includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of basic fixtures
- Promptly responds to spills and other custodial emergencies o Maintains work order or services request logs and other basic reports
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Successful completion of all required on the job training
Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems
Prior experience performing custodial services required

Competencies: Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.

Operate in a team-based environment
Keep simple records and make reports
