3rd Shift Monday - Friday 1 am - 9 am
What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Warehouse Associate II.to perform various functions in support of warehouse operation, including shipping, loading and delivery of flooring products for our Garner, NC facility. This position requires a high level of skill and knowledge of multiple aspects of warehouse operations.
What you’ll do:
- Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
- Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.
- Perform cycle counts and other inventory control functions.
- Operate AS400 Plan Loader to receive trucks, open and close truck doors.
- Operate vinyl and carpet cut tables in assigned facility.
- Process bills of lading and PODs.
- Operate Glad Hand Locks to lock trailers
Plus at least 1 of the following functions:
- Possess CDL Class A license and provide backup to Mohawk truck drivers.
- Develop routes for local truck driver deliveries when routing system is down.
- Handle and coordinate floor sample materials assigned to facility.
- Receive shipping orders from shipping office.
- Obey all safety rules and regulations.
- Immediately report to supervision all safety hazards, accidents, and/or injuries, no matter how slight
- Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
- Follow all established standard operating procedures
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
What you have:
- Highschool Diploma
- At least 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Associate I.
- Operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk lift truck certification test.
- Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines in assigned facility.
- Ability to operate vinyl and carpet cut tables (if available in assigned facility).
- Working knowledge of AS400 system.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory and cycle count procedures.

- Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs. several times a shift.
- Vision must be correctable to 20/40.
- Will be required to climb on and off a lift truck numerous times a shift.
- Must be able to operate lift truck controls.
