Job Description:

· Ensure production and quality procedures are followed.

· Assist department manager and technical directors in research and development

· Maintain strict safety procedures for self, all employees, and visitors within the dye area

· Operate compound, blender, and crystallize machines as needed

· Analyzes and resolves work problems

· Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision

· Follow all established standard operating procedures

· Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary

· Perform other tasks assigned by management

· Work overtime to assist covering manufacturing as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

· Identify color shades.

· Repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds.

· Repetitive stretching, bending, and stooping.

· Must have good work / attendance record (not under corrective action).

· AS400, Excel, basic computer knowledge.

· Conform to all Mohawk safety rules and regulations.

· Communication skills to lead employees.

· Self-motivation with minimal Supervision.

Candidates are required to meet these minimum requirements to be considered for this job.

Preferred Skills:

· Good organizational / housekeeping skills

· Communication skills

· Certifications in: CPR, 70E trained, Lift truck, LOTO, Bloodborne pathogens, etc.
