Primary Objective:  

Ensures the efficient and optimal use of the company’s resources and implements comprehensive utilization strategies. Contributes to creating tangible business objectives by situation analysis, prioritizing and accountability systems to determine the course of action for achievement. Assist in monitoring department budgets and manage all inventories on a regular basis. Guide team members in managing production schedules and reviewing necessary data.

Support new business proposal efforts and recruit, hire and develop the necessary technical talent to meet current and future demands of the company. Incorporate planning best practices throughout all program activities. Hold accountability for the strategic implementation of product and process development and implement teamwork among the department. Assist in formulating tangible goals for the department and collaborate with team members to educate them on their role in achieving them.

 

Major Function and Scope: 

  • Manage all workflow for projects and maintain control on same and manage an efficient inventory level of all safety stock and review volume requirements for materials.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to perform various strategies and coordinate with program manager to monitor all supply chain activities and resolve all availability issues.
  • Prepare reports for all planning activity metrics and analyze all results to recommend required improvements in performance and collaborate with material manager to forecast all required strategies.
  • Maintain optimal level of performance within required budget and ensure compliance to all standard projects.
  • Process requirement and analyze all working of supply chain team.
  • Train all subordinates of all planning team in various systems.
  • Facilitate and provide data to prepare all sales forecast and implement all new products and processes for all manufacturing plants.
  • Plan inventory levels and locations and execute all forecasting and planning programs.
  • Participate in all evaluation meetings on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Assist to obtain and manage all orders and deliveries for all external processes and prepare reports to be presented to management and manage demand and supply of all materials.
  • Assist all new product development and improvement in all existing products and ensure optimal inventory level at all times.
  • Researches and provides advisement to senior management on current and emerging department needs.

  

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or similar study.
  • In-depth technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing projects, employees and company practices.
  • 5+ years job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • Prior work experience in an organization of comparable size, business diversity, scope and complexity a plus
  • Proficient using PC, Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Project 98, etc.
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team with the ability to influence a cross-functional team and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management, engineer management, and change management.
  • Aptitude for business software solutions with experience on an implementation team (preferred)
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries.

  • Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Consistently proven ability to manage/implement projects and contributes to concept development.
