What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Senior Manager, CAD Studio who can do more with Mohawk.


This position is responsible for leading teams and managing the day-to-day operations of the group.


What you’ll do:


  • Initiate and maintain contact with customers where needed for coordination, clarification, & negotiating critical issues.
  • Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiency.
  • Work with QC & Design to ensure best practices are followed on the front end of a project to minimize any risk of claim or customer dissatisfaction when our products are installed.
  • Work with QC & Design to research claims and overcome manufacturing defects that affect installs and recommend solutions where possible without making additional material in production.
  • Ensure proposal documentation / contracts are following the standards set forth by individual prototype projects
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure best practices and protocols are followed as needed
  • Work with Quality Control to review quality and install methods and for new introductions. Publishes the findings for product launches
  • Plan, organize, & manage drawings and other assets for the CAD team
  • Other duties as needed


What you have:


  • Four-year college degree in a related field, Business or marketing is preferred.
  • Must have 6-8 years of previous management experience (flooring industry experience preferred)
  • 3D imaging and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) experience is mandatory (experience with Callidus preferred)
  • Understanding of graphic illustration and art design principles and concepts.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, Texcelle, etc. experience preferred
