At Mohawk, our people make the difference. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager of Human Resources to plan, develop and direct the implementation of the Company’s strategic human resources goals and objectives for our residential yarn & backing manufacturing operations..

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Act as a strategic consulting partner on the HR management team, assisting with the development of Human Resources strategic, long-range goals and initiatives

  • Develop, direct and oversee the implementation and interpretation of a full range of Human Resources policies and activities in accordance with the organization’s strategic goals and legal requirements

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and “best practices” related to Human Resources and Organizational Development and their impact to the company and recommend policy changes and process improvements to achieve business goals and ensure continued regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with divisional leadership to identify HR needs and areas of improvement and direct the overall management and administration of the Division’s HR programs and activities

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible diverse HR management experience, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement

    • Experience must include 6+ years in a managerial capacity leading diverse work groups and 4+ years of strategic consulting and project management experience in a complex business environment involving multiple business issues for a company of comparable size and/or scope

  • Experience within HR function leading multi-site front line workforce

  • Extensive, in-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of Human Resources

  • Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions

  • Being both a visionary and a strategic thinker, as well as tactical in executing strategies, anticipating and considering how current plans will be affected by future events

  • This position will supervise multiple direct & indirect employees
  • Domestic travel may be required for this role
