What we need:

 

The Product Development Analyst is an established performer that works to facilitate and support Product Development functions and projects. This role will be responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting research, and providing insights to inform product development decisions.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Coordinate workflow and deadlines throughout the overall product development process from concept to commercialization implement strategic and operations plan for the sales region.
  • Participate in lead cycles of service and process improvement efforts based on key drivers of satisfaction.
  • Develop and revise standard operational and working practices and observe staff to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
  • Conduct detailed product and market assessments and prepare strategic and operating plans resulting in marketing strategies for successful introduction of products, which may include presentations, trials, collation of data, implementation, logistics for product placement, procurement, setting goals, and evaluation of outcomes on an ongoing basis.
  • Plan and develop product specifications, protocols, and logistics to ensure the successful introduction and marketing of cost-effective products, using analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Review and analyze assigned product lines and assure overall acceptability, product standardization, and cost containment; makes recommendations.
  • Evaluate trends, research, develop, and analyze competitive product comparisons. Create product design alternatives and create new product concepts.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite product
