What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Planning Analyst who can do more for all Mohawk Flooring North America brands across residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions.


Analytical support to track and improve key performance indicators for Resilient Business Unit. The Analyst will lead business analysis for strategic projects and provide recommendations to the leadership team.



What you’ll do:


  • Provide analysis on operational KPI’s and business opportunities to assist in managerial decision-making.
  • Create appropriate measures and benchmarks to monitor performance.
  • Conduct scenario analysis for strategic initiatives
  • Develop and automate reporting processes using multiple data sources
  • Participate in forecasting through evaluation of current delivery volume and projected sales.
  • Establish and maintain an effective system for analyzing operating performance towards goals and objectives
  • Improve business processes, working closely with the team executing those processes.



What you have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical field (Engineering, Math or Management) required
  • Master’s degree or 3+ years of experience in the same or similar field
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar data visualization applications
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with SAP



What you’re good at:


  • Analytical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Data management and organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and work well under pressure
  • Mathematical aptitude and basic understanding of statistical modeling
  • Prioritize work, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions before they occur
