What we need:
The Network Architect is a leading performer who manages infrastructure projects and processes by leveraging creativity and comprehensive operational understanding to resolve a wide range of business issues that impact multiple departments or job areas. This role will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.
- Lead efforts to document functional and technical requirements, architecture, design, development, hands-on with Visio and MS PowerPoint, etc
- Troubleshooting Routing & Switching Technologies –Cisco Nexus, Meraki. Cisco ASR and ISR.
- Troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks, knowledge about Palo Alto firewalls, and Panorama.
- Data Center management and design. VXLAN EVPN, VRF, VPC, Leaf and Spine architecture, Nexus dashboard.
- Tools - Wireshark, SNMP, FTP/SolarWinds, LiveAction
- Knowledge of LAN and Campus network, VRRP, HSRP, Port Channels, LLDP, VTP, etc.
- Knowledge of WAN and SD-WAN, preferred Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN experience.
- Good knowledge and understanding of complex routing topologies and routing protocols, such as BGP and EIGRP.
- Troubleshoot Data Center network and WAN problems and perform problem resolution.
- Knowledge and Understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Proactively assess new technologies & capacity planning to meet escalating business demands by project and environment.
- Manage large cross-functional projects or processes.
- Align new solutions to the current architectural principles regarding standards and integration in the organization.
- Leverage creativity and a comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and goal development.
- Creatively and strategically support key business objectives.
- Participate in and may manage large, cross-functional projects or initiatives with strategic importance.
- Perform high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering and application of business knowledge.
- Generate fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.
- Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 8-10 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6 years of IT experience developing client-server or web-based applications.
- Cisco Network Professional: CCNP or higher
- WAN professional with at least 10 years of hands-on experience on complex routing topology with experience on BGP and EIGRP routing protocols.
- 8-10 years of data center networking in Cisco Nexus platforms. Experienced in a VXLAN EVPN environment with leaf and Spine architecture and a multi-VRF environment along with Nexus Dashboard.
- 2-4 years of SDWAN experience. Added advantage for Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN knowledge.
- 5 years of LAN and Campus network experience with Cisco switching platforms. Experience in modular and non-modular CAT switches.
- Experience with application Load Balancer like Radware or F5.
- Good understanding and fundamental knowledge of Public Clouds like Azure and GCP.

- Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as a Project lead. May be required to act in a senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
