What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for a Marketing Project Manager who can do More with Mohawk. The Project Manager will drive various projects' progress while maintaining schedule, budget, and scope.

 

  • Project manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of assigned projects by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all deadlines are met on time and keeping stakeholders updated
  • Be the key liaison between internal teams that include Product Marketing, Creative Design, Channel Marketing, Merchandising and Samples, and on occasion external vendors
  • Execute a communication process that keeps all relevant stakeholders informed; including resolving and escalating issues and obstacles
  • Must be proactive, quick thinking, a good communicator, a problem solver, and organized

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Project manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of assigned projects by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all deadlines are met on time and keeping stakeholders updated
  • Be the key liaison between internal teams that include Product Marketing, Creative Design, Channel Marketing, Merchandising, and Samples, and on occasion external vendors
  • Lead operating systems for each respective project that deliver a consistent flow of information regarding scope, schedule, and budget to all relevant stakeholders
  • Utilize toolsets to organize and manage scope, schedule, and budget
  • Proactively evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies to address risk
  • Deploy a communication process to keep all relevant stakeholders informed; especially if risks are realized and mitigation strategies are deployed
  • Proactively review and interpret performance against project plans and standards; manage reports on project performance, changes, enhancements, scope variations, and other related matters and/or lead key management activities and committees advising project sponsors or senior management accordingly.
  • Drive the business, vendor, or any performing function to achieve schedule, budget, and scope as well as their respective improvement if required.

 

What you have:

 

  • BA preferred or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Creative or ad agency background is preferred
  • Project Management Tools such as WorkFront (we use this), Jira, Confluence, SmartSheets, or other Tools preferred
  • 3-5 years in creative project management or project coordination/scheduling, leading diverse and cross-functional work groups/teams in a complex business environment involving multiple diverse business teams in an organization of comparable size and scope

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Communicating effectively utilizing excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Recognizing and communicating risks while developing mitigation strategies to achieve project objectives
  • Presenting and explaining technical information in a way that establishes rapport persuades others, and gains understanding
  • Utilizing leadership skills to effectively lead and direct a diverse project team, to achieve results through efforts, and  to motivate, persuade, and direct the activities of others
  • Performing in a fast-paced environment and crisis situations while rendering good decisions to resolve problems, maintain safety, and ensure adherence to the Corporate Code of Conduct
  • Proactive thinking, quick decision making, problem-solving, and staying organized
