Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks on electrical distribution systems and electronic components.
Perform calibration tasks on pressure and temperature transmitters, indicators and probes
Troubleshoot and repair Electrical equipment such as inverters, controllers, starters, PLCs, etc.
Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems and electrical distribution systems.
Work closely with mechanical maintenance team to diagnose and solve various issues
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
Follow all established standard operating procedures
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

Three years’ experience in an industrial environment either in a maintenance or operations position
Formal industrial electrical or electronics education (to include degree, certificate, or military equivalent) preferred
Formal training & experience with programming PLC’s, HMI’s and Drives or willingness to receive such training (may include travel)
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

Competencies: Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
Ability to work as part of a support team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Submission of Skills Survey Form (obtain from Human Resources)
