What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking for a Sr. Showroom Sales Specialist who can take the showroom floor by storm and be the brand ambassador for all things Mohawk!  

As the face of the showroom, this position will be responsible for handling all showroom activities and customer relations. Being knowledgeable of company products is also key. By knowing Mohawk in and out, you’ll help to champion the pride and quality that goes into our products.  

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Work closely with clients and customers to ensure a complete understanding of our products and their quality
  • Execute sample inventory checks to maintain local market levels, as well as maintain bookkeeping of said samples
  • Manage showroom floors and product displays so that they align with company standards
  • Build client engagement through social media, especially regarding events
  • Coordinate meetings and special events in showroom

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Experience/knowledge of commercial flooring products preferred
  • Interest in interior design/architecture or textiles/materials & finishes

  • Communicating effectively with wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form
  • Combining personality and knowledge of products to persuade, market, and sell new ideas
  • Maintaining exceptional client relationships
  • Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to stand, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and generally perform physical activity, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
