What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Customer Service Representative I who can do more for Mohawk by establishing and maintaining positive business relationships and providing a high level of service and support.


Our Customer Experience team is relentlessly focused on providing exceptional service that inspires customer loyalty and strengthens our position as the world’s leading flooring manufacturer. We’re looking for people who thrive on connection and collaboration to join us in taking Customer Experience to the next level.


What you’ll do:



  • Enter sales orders and order changes including price quotations, preparation and follow-up on purchase orders, and confirmation of shipment dates.
  • Examine records and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and other employees to obtain facts needed to resolve complaints.
  • Expedite orders through production or shipping.
  • Maintain purchase order files.
  • Communicate with production control staff regarding order status and scheduled shipment dates.
  • Respond to customer needs and demonstrate teamwork to ensure achievement of goals.



What you have:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. Some college in business-related field or CCSS (Certified Customer Service Specialist) preferred
  • Basic computer skills in word-processing and spreadsheet applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel AS400 and Inet
  • Good voice quality that is conversational and professional.
  • Accurate typing ability (minimum 45 wpm) and data entry skills
  • Office experience required, in a customer service environment preferred.
