What we need:
The Manager Human Resources is a first-level manager that provides full cycle Human Resources support and manages the day-to-day activities of an HR team. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Train management on effective performance management, handling employee relations issues, organizational change and development, addressing work environment issues, and leadership skills.
- Develop programs, policies, and procedures regarding employment, staffing, and turnover.
- Manage location Affirmative Action Program and work with assigned locations to develop action plans to meet Affirmative Action goals.
- Ensure OSHA and other safety procedures are followed in your area of responsibility.
- Manage the implementation and interpretation of a full range of Human Resources policies and activities in accordance with the company and legal requirements.
- Oversee implementation, administration, and communication of annual corporate projects.
- Serve as an advisor and mentor to subordinates and other staff members.
- Oversee the administration of and compliance with compensation, benefits, EEO, and other human resources policies and procedures in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate administrative and logistical details associated with the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 1-3 years of management experience.
- HR certification preferred.

- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
- Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
What else?
- Occasional travel is required.
- This role will be responsible for direct reports.
