What we need:
The Supply Chain Analyst is an established performer that works to facilitate and support the Supply Chain function and projects. This role supports the enterprise supply chain network through the development of business plans and on-going analysis of business and industry data.
What you’ll do:
- Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
- Conduct analysis, integration, and coordination of various elements in assigned area of supporting supply chain
- Help analyze and align demand with capacity for assigned groups.
- Maintain, improve, and provide recommendations on the assigned Supply Chain function using BI software.
- Develop new processes and procedures to deliver value-added supply chain analytical services to support management decision making process.
- Execute cost and profit modeling using existing capacity planning tools.
- May be responsible for additional responsibilities as defined by area such as sales operations planning and freight.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Collaborate with necessary functions/positions to develop, monitor, and improve supply chain performance & cost.
- Support Supply Chain initiatives and long term goals through analytics and performing ‘what if’ scenarios using tools such as excel, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, and others.
- Actively monitor output and drive continuous improvement within defined metrics to maintain compliance and achieve Supply Chain targets.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
What you’re good at:
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Highly analytical.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
