The Pricing Manager is a leading performer that is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and optimization of pricing strategies. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, marketing, and product management, to ensure that pricing models align with business goals, market conditions, and profitability objectives.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to establish pricing models that maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Lead or support pricing optimization initiatives to align with evolving business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Manage end-to-end pricing programs, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of pricing models and tools.
  • Ensure pricing governance, focusing on adherence to pricing policies and processes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution of pricing initiatives and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and threats in the industry.
  • Monitor pricing trends, customer demand, and competitor strategies to inform ongoing adjustments to pricing models.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on analysis of pricing data and market conditions.
  • Analyze the financial impact of pricing decisions on revenue, margins, and profitability.
  • Develop pricing dashboards and reports to monitor program performance, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment.
  • Collaborate with finance to conduct cost and margin analysis, ensuring pricing strategies support financial goals.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

 

What else?

  • Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
