What we need:

The Pricing Manager is a leading performer that is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and optimization of pricing strategies. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, marketing, and product management, to ensure that pricing models align with business goals, market conditions, and profitability objectives.

What we need:

The Pricing Manager will own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Mohawk’s pricing management tools and technology—spanning Pricefx, SAP/Vistex, and data integrations. Ensure pricing platforms are easy to use, fast, and accurate, enabling the Sales team to close business while providing oversight for ROI and profitable growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and iterate the multi-year roadmap for pricing tools, aligning with business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Translate business outcomes into epics and user stories; prioritize and manage the backlog across Pricefx, SAP/Vistex, and downstream data integration.
  • Drive releases for key initiatives such as Entitlement Group pricing logic, Residential and Commercial price registration, limited time price expirations, pricing guidance change Logs, agreement approvals, and batch updates.
  • Champion a ‘sales-first’ user experience: test with real users, gather UAT feedback, and ensure offline/table-based options complement online tools.
  • Lead enablement and training plans in partnership with Sales Enablement.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional delivery with Pricing Operations, Analytics, Sales, Product Management, IT, and Commissions.
  • Partner with IT/Data Engineering on Datamart design, data completeness validation, and system health.
  • Ensure downstream data integrity (Xchange, Vistex, SAP) and instrument dashboards for effective price management.
  • Embed auditability and controls (e.g., price change logs, MPI rules/guardrails, regional agreements workflows).
  • Support post-mortems and ‘go/no-go’ readiness reviews.
  • Define success metrics (adoption, guidance adherence, turnaround time, margin uplift) and run dashboard ‘road shows’ with business units.
  • Manage dependencies, communicate schedule changes, and maintain stakeholder confidence through transparent status and issue resolution.

What you have:

  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Pricefx, SAP OTC/Vistex, and data visualization/dashboards; familiarity with mobile/app enablement and offline tool patterns.
  • Experience working with Datamart/transaction data pipelines, instrumenting KPIs, and supporting business decisions via dashboards and analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance/Analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

What you’re good at:

  • Product leadership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle (discovery → UAT → release → adoption), balancing speed, reliability, and user delight.
  • Technical acumen: Deep understanding of pricing conditions, guidance separation, MPI impacts, entitlement logic, and ERP/pricing integrations.
  • Stakeholder management: Executive presence; proven ability to align Sales, PMs, Finance/Pricing, IT, and Commissions on priorities and timelines.
  • Data-driven decisioning: Establish measurable outcomes (adoption, guidance adherence, audit readiness, margin impact) and continuously improve based on business unit feedback.
  • Governance & compliance: Instill strong controls (audit logs, approvals, SLAs) and maintain readiness for reviews and post-mortems; manage risk around calendar dependencies.
  • Change & communication: Clear, concise communication of roadmap, release notes, and training; adept at guiding go-live shifts without loss of stakeholder trust.
