What we need:

Mohawk is looking for an SR LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to manage freight revenue billing for our various transportation services, including ocean, dray, freight forwarding and brokers. This role will also collaborate with other internal teams as well as serve on special project teams as an SME for transportation systems and interfaces.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure invoicing is accurate and timely
• Troubleshoot system issues, including EDI, rates, billing, etc.
• Resolve customer concerns with billing and application issues
• Maintain relationships and payment processing for ocean and land transportation services
• Ensure proper G/L allocation for all payments to transportation vendors

What you have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in freight coordination, customer service, transportation or other related field

What you’re good at:

• Problem solving, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals
• Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism 
• Communicating effectively with internal and external customers in written, oral and interpersonal form 
• Understanding and leveraging technology to streamline operations, reduce costs, deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive process improvements
• Responding quickly to customer issues with a positive and empathetic attitude
