What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Sr. Manager – Quality to lead a team responsible for the development and execution of the facility’s quality management system, inclusive of policies, standards, programs, and initiatives focused on preventing or eliminating quality defects in new or existing products. This role develops auditing programs as part of the Quality Assurance Program, directs assembly of cost control and statistical data, and develops material selection standards to ensure all areas of the organization meet or exceed quality assurance standards.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team focused on enhancing manufacturing systems through innovation and emerging technologies.
- Oversee staff development, training, budgeting and resource planning to ensure project success and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve systems and processes while ensuring compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
- Monitor multiple concurrent projects, analyze performance metrics and provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Product Development and other departments to align on business goals and drive results.
- Identify and resolve systemic quality issues by developing corrective actions, process improvements and training programs.
- Support production changes related to methods, equipment, space and workforce to maintain and improve quality standards.
- Establish and manage quality monitoring systems to track trends, analyze data and recommend enhancements to the QA program.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and vendors to support operational excellence.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of management experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
What else?
- Responsible for managing direct reports, including oversight of performance, development and team coordination.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, airborne particles and moving machinery.
- Requires the ability to stand, walk long distances, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- May need to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the shift.
