eCommerce Analyst - Analytics/Tagging

What we need:

 

As part of Mohawk Flooring North America’s eCommerce team, implement digital and media analytics for Mohawk’s B2B and B2C sites, collecting data to drive informed marketing decisions. The primary focus will be aiding in pixel and tracking strategies while implementing the best-in-class tagging solutions. The role will also be responsible for adopting and maintaining the leads center database with the goal to migrate the database management fully in-house. The individual will be required to heavily cross-collaborate amongst internal brand/marketing business units and external agency partners to drive growth through analytics.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Propose Website Tracking Strategies for Measurement Success – Partner cross-functionally to prioritize and execute tracking initiatives to support business goals, ultimately driving the performance of master brand sites - pergoflooring.com, mohawkflooring.com, and/or karastan.com – as well as Mohawk’s B2B sites. Includes recommending and aligning on measurement plans with cross-functional stakeholders and our external tracking partners.  

  • Support Customer Experience analytics (media planning, measurement, experience optimization) in support of national digital media investment.

  • Implement and Maintain Tracking Requirements – A large component of the role will be devoted to implementing and documenting measurement plans for our digital experiences in Adobe and/or Google Analytics, working in the respective Tag Management Systems. This individual must hold a basic to mid-level understanding tag implementation, be a self-starter for continuing his/her tag management growth, and be highly capable of translating complex tracking concepts into simplistic terms. 

  • Management of Mohawk Leads Database – Responsible for upkeeping and evolving the Mohawk Industries’ leads database. The SQL database collects consumer leads generated from brand and retailer digital experiences and pipes data into other eComm platforms. Lead tracking will be a necessity for both marketing lead nourishment and retailer/sales lead management. It’s vital for this role to understand the complexities of various digital platforms and how lead data should be mapped ana managed for success. 

  • Reporting and Dashboard Support – As post-tracking support and lead, this individual will guide other teams in and/or create dashboards and reporting to support our brand initiatives. The role will be responsible for but not limited to producing monthly ongoing performance reports for our platforms, constructing dashboards allowing for analysis of team marketing and website initiatives, and generating reports that demonstrate action-oriented insights. 

  • eComm Platforms Analytics SME – Alongside knowing the operations and capabilities of the Analytics platforms (i.e Google and Adobe Analytics), this role will also be responsible for investigating and the application of the analytics available in the eComm team’s other platforms and systems. The goal will be for this individual to help stitch together data points across various systems to offer a comprehensive view of performance. Strong skills in problem-solving and cognitive thinking will help this role successfully.   

 

What you have:

 

  • 2-4+ years of experience in tag management and database environments 

  • We are looking for an eCommerce Analyst more on the technical & tagging end of analytics

  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe/Tags, and other analytical platforms 

  • eCommerce, retail, or Agency experience preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or Analytics 

  • Database management (SQL) is required 

  • Basic understanding of the evolving digital landscape and the analytics needed for measurement
