Objective:

 

The Segment Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation, development and reporting of segmentation campaigns and marketing content to generate qualified leads, drive conversion, and increase revenue within the segment. In collaboration with segment leadership, the Segment Marketing Manager will gather insights that assist in the development of marketing collateral and campaigns, acting as a liaison between key stakeholders to communicate and/or gain approval of marketing initiatives and monitor and report performance to outline key learnings.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop strategic, measurable marketing initiatives and campaigns based upon business goals and objectives, segmentation goals, corporate marketing priorities, market trends and specific account targets
  • Serve as the marketing liaison with segmentation leaders and field sales in evaluating needs and obtaining insights to optimize the marketing plan
  • Manage the execution of initiatives within the segment marketing plan with cross-functional teams
  • Execute initiatives across various marketing channels and platforms (e.g., direct, print, photography, event, online, social and digital)
  • Lead creative development of segment campaigns and sales tools, ensuring marketing deliverables are consistent with brand standards, accurate, and integrated within the strategy across all media
  • Perform competitive and internal marketing analysis to ensure plans are relevant, updated and effective
  • Develop defined processes and tools for ROI measurement, lead management and follow-up
  • Ensure marketing tools and collateral integrate into Mohawk’s CRM and additional sales enablement platforms
  • Create ongoing, strategic dialogue cross-functionally to develop and implement key business support with promotions, training, consumer or dealer events, sponsorships and relevant trade shows
  • Collaborate with appropriate technical, legal and other relevant resources to ensure accurate information is approved and presented in accordance with corporate, federal and/or legal guideline
  • Create ongoing, strategic dialogue with the Mohawk Digital Experience team to ensure digital channels, tools, and content are accurate and relevant to the needs of the segment and corresponding user community

 

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications or related field required
  • 5+ years of job specific experience required in the field (s) of Marketing and/or Communications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience developing, managing and executing marketing collateral, promotional campaigns and direct marketing programs is required
  • Ability to write and edit for a wide variety of communication styles and needs required
  • Experience managing creative design and content direction
  • Experience working against a project plan, maintaining project schedules and working within a project budget required
