What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Sales Operations Support Manager who can do more with Mohawk.
This position will have a dual set of responsibilities.
The first part of the role will be as the main contact and support person for an assigned Senior Vice President (SVP) of Commercial Sales. In this role you will provide support in the following areas:
- Summary of prior week’s business (orders received, $$ volume of orders, weekly shipments, and other data as needed)
- Review & update outstanding product claims
- Review & update credit holds and backorders
- Review & update AE and Region Forecast – Gap vs. Plan
- Work with SVP to manage and process blanket orders
- Pull business data for Quarterly Business Reviews
- Track across the SVP area the open headcount, offers out, pending offers, revenue loss from open territory/region via information from HR
- Lead direct reports to organize a call with each RVP and team on a weekly basis. (Highlighting opportunity stages, quotes, material bank leads, and sample orders)
- Lead (with other managers) a Commercial Business Process Review quarterly with all SVP’s, Sales Ops Leads, and Sales leadership.
The second set of this role’s responsibilities will be to lead and manage the sales support personnel assigned to the regions that align to the SVP that you are supporting. You may have up to 7 direct reports (dependent upon SVP assignment).
You will lead the team that provides RVPs and AE’s with the daily support, performance data, tools, technology and training as a single point of contact to help them achieve their growth goals. The ideal candidate will manage their team to support the sales team with actionable business intel that delivers a competitive advantage in sales productivity, sales generation, improves the quality of the sale, and ensures that Mohawk Commercial increases market share.
What your team will do:
- Be the single point of contact for sales region responsible for intake of Account Executive/RVP enquiries and providing operationally sound and customer-focused solutions
- Drive sales productivity and accountability by assisting in the adoption of the CRM, sales methodology and development opportunities
- Coordinate and build collateral information and communications to provide sales with relevant information that supports their selling initiatives
- Identify key contacts within targeted accounts in each Account Executives territory. Vet and forward appropriate information in a timely and effective manner
- Platform, Application and Device Support – Train, Coach and share best practices to improve the comfort and confidence in our technology stack
- Provide sales team with analytics that drive actions and behaviors to support sales growth
What you will do:
- Be the front-line people leader to your team of direct reports managing the day-to-day activities, performance, and hiring for your team.
- Work cross functionally within the department to support your team and deliver results to the SVP, RVP’s, and AEs.
- Work cross functionally outside of the department to create valuable relationships with other departments to ensure business continuity and delivery of results.
- Demonstrate leadership, business acumen, and influence skills throughout the organization to drive delivery of all objectives within your span of control.
What you have:
- University degree not required, but a 2-year or 4-year degree in professional sales, business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 3+ years working in a sales support, business development, or similarly functioning role
- Experience working with sales applications to include CRM (SFDC, SAP, Microsoft, etc.)
- Experience in delivering data and communicating meaningful metrics using Tableau, Power BI, SAC, or similar data visualization tools
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency levels in: Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Business Intelligence tools and Business Writing
- A willingness to learn on the job and grow your career
